Since it set up the first office in Hong Kong in 1978, Bosch Rexroth has been successfully operating in China for more than thirty years. We are active in the China markets of Mobile Applications, Industrial Applications and Renewable Energies. China, as one of the largest rapidly-growing market, we established the local facilities in Wujin, Beijing and Xi′an which offer hydraulic components and systems, generator gearboxes for wind turbines, and frequency converters. We′ll continue to build up local engineering capacity to develop ′Design to Region′ solutions for Chinese customers.
 
Bosch Rexroth in Xi’an
 
With an investment of 145 million CNY in its plant in Xi′an, Bosch is boosting the position of its subsidiary Bosch Rexroth in the Chinese market. In so doing, Bosch, an international technology company, is also expanding the range of services it offers in the region to include application engineering, cabinet assembly, and product customization tailored to its customers in China.The entire site covers 42,000 m², with the production building housing 12 production lines. The goal is to double capacity by 2013. In addition, the new site is also home to the main development activities for Bosch Rexroth frequency converters, to marketing and sales, and to distribution and administrative functions.
