What attributes do you look for when recruiting graduates?

When recruiting graduates we see two things. First is the basic knowledge in the domain and the second is interpersonal skills. If the candidate is very confident and has an in depth knowledge of the domain the second point is not as important and vice versa.

What key advice would you give to Uk students/graduates who would like to work for your company?

Improve your analytical and interpersonal skills instead having an expertise in the domain. Basic knowledge in the domain is more than enough to survive in IT. The presence of mind is more important for surviving in IT.
