Mandarin Consulting Limited is a career coaching and consultancy firm with 3 office locations in the UK offering services to Chinese clients in both the UK and China. With offices also in the US and China, the company is now looking for candidates to join the fast growing business as Account Manager (Sales).

What attributes do you look for when recruiting graduates?

The successful candidates will be working in the company’s Sales and Marketing department, a collaborative, client facing team in the heart of the business directly contributing to the company’s fast growing revenue. With the majority of the company’s target clients being Chinese speaking fresh graduates from leading UK universities, the company would love to hear from bilingual talents who also have in-depth understanding in our customers’ native culture and consuming mentality, and can relate to them with ease in the business’s daily marketing practice.

Details of duties:

· Develops potential clients and discuss their needs/requirements;

· Achieves sales target;

· Recruits, trains and manages Brand Ambassadors based on University Campus;

· Recruits, trains and manages Associate Account Managers;

· Managing and reporting activities in the market as well as our competitors;

· Develop and nurture relationships with outside stake holders;

· Organises meetings with potential clients;

· Willing to travel to other offices in the UK and offices in other countries to carry out training or business development activities;

Daily:

· Consultatively develops suitable potential clients on the market, through University Campus-based Brand Ambassadors;

· Strategically cultivates suitable potential clients on Chinese internet platforms, Chinese social network sites;

· Designs and circulates marketing messages to attract leads;

· Arranges and attends consultative sales meetings with potential clients;

· Attends follow up meetings with potential clients and clients, discusses their needs and handling objections;

· Closes deal meetings;

· Briefs programme management team about new clients needs;

· Organises and attends university seminars;

· Attends networking functions;

· Drafts proposals for marketing and promotional events;

· Keeps updated information on competitors;

· Suggests new sales and account management strategies to senior management;

· Researches on job market information for clients;

· Trains Brand Ambassadors and manages their warm leads generating work;

· Trains Associate Account Managers to enable them to develop their skills;

· Discusses with potential partners on marketing and sales promotion activities;

Weekly:

· Attends weekly sales team meetings reports on sales activities, analyses sales figures, shares market information, reports to management of weekly targets;

· Attend other meetings on projects that they are involved in;

· Give or receive training;

Monthly:

· Compiles monthly sales reports to management team;

· Produce sales and marketing strategy in their given market;

· Attend various meetings in projects they are involved in;

Details of skill, attributes, experience and qualifications required for this post:

· An undergraduate degree or above from a recognised university;

· Fluent in both English and Mandarin;

· Professional communication skills with an ability to present information clearly and with confidence;

· Previous good leadership, team work and problem solving experience;

· Enthusiastic and passionate about the company’s service and a result driven approach, be ready to grow with the company;

· Determined, result driven, willing to take responsibilities;

· Relevant experience in marketing and sales especially in service industry;

· Profound understanding in Chinese culture and consumer behaviour.

· Money motivated
