As Operations Manager, I have the responsibility for the monitoring, evaluation and implementation of ASN Construction and Estates, ASN Recovery Limited and ASN Farms-Crops and Poultry by the following procedures;
- Strategize and observe the progress and quality of management’s decisions in terms of the magnitude and the financial implication of ASN Construction and Estates, ASN Recovery Limited and ASN Farms-Crops and Poultry.
- Determine by way of management and financial analysis of available and researched data whether the initiatives will be and has been worthwhile in terms of delivering what was intended and expected.( i.e. Deferent projects are being undertaking for each division; therefore the benchmark will be budgeted activity against actual activity).
- Implementation or execution of management plans as strategized and budgeted. Under this phase, the various objectives derived from each division will be acted upon by following any preliminary thinking in order to accomplish the set goals.
- Manage the team of officers in my division by delegating responsibilities and receiving feedback and also manage change.
- Identify and mitigate present and potential risks to projects and operational policy as directed by management.
- Prepare memos for approval.
- Audit and cross-check requisitions for approval.
- Official visits to divisional sites. (i.e. Farms-crop and poultry, Construction-apartments and estates, Recovery offices)
- Analyze the divisional competitive environment and strategize for new business opportunities.
- Apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to make strategic decisions.
- Conduct work to adhere to the principles of good corporate governance.
