What do you do?
I am working as Professor at JBIET. I teach the Masters of Technology (Computer Science and Engineering) course. I also supervise PhD research and, as Director (Academic Planning) I oversee the academic planning and administration of JBIET.
Why do you think you got this job?
I have Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering, and a Masters and PhD in Computer Engineering. I also have an MBA and over 24 years of experience. My exposure at UWE Bristol played a great role in being so successful.
What key advice would you give to current students from India who would like to get into a similar job to you?
I feel that UK provides great advantage as meeting point of several culture, races and thinking styles.
What other advice would you give to others graduates?
I feel that UK provides great advantage as meeting point of several culture, races and thinking styles. It widens your scope and helps you think outside of the box (certainly in the context of indian thinking style). Absorbing a new thought process can make you a better problem solver.
