Description

Currently, I am employed as Manager Legal at Aman Group Ltd bearing 45 Companies owning more than 15 manufacturing industries in Bangladesh. The essential tasks assigned to me include but are not limited to:

I'm responsible for monitoring all lawsuits including but not limited to company matters, CR, and Arthari suits concerning Banks, Financial Institutions, Vendors and other Govt. I also deal with regulatory Authorities and concerning issues of Aman Group Ltd. Furthermore, I liaise with external law chambers/lawyers/retainers to vet documents, seek opinions and execute suits on behalf of Aman Group Ltd. 

Additionally, I prepare/draft/vet agreements, contracts, MOUs etc. for all 45 concerns of Aman Group. This means preparing/drafting/vetting different types of letters concerning Bangladesh Bank, BSEC, RJSC etc. Govt Regulatory Authorities as and when required concerning the Group. I advise internal departments regarding the applicable laws for loan recovery purposes, labour issues and other accruing legal repercussions and prepare Legal Risk Reports for onward submission to the Board of Directors of Aman Group for guidance/implementation purposes. 

As well as all this, I provide training to employees of the Group regarding internal group policies. I also draft & implement policies for all departments within Aman Group Ltd. Lastly, I ensure that the business complies with legal regulations and maintains ethical practices.
