Responsbilities

The L&D intern will work on projects with the Astro Learning & Development team on the following:

  • Learn and help with day-to-day learning administration and execution.
  • Learn to source for trainers to run in house and external training programs.
  • Gain experience and help with the deployment of e-learning programs.
  • Get on the job experience by supporting any ad-hoc L&D requirements/deployments.
  • Create marketing content to market learning and training programs to Astro employees.
  • Experience helping with the deployment of Astro’s Onboarding Program (sending invitations to participants, managing the enrollments, sending reminders to speakers and trainers).

Requirements:

The L&D intern candidate that we are looking for:

  • Undergraduates who have completed their first two (2) years’ of a Degree course, with preferably a CGPA of 3.2 or Second Upper.
  • Have good speaking and writing skills in English. Ability to demonstrate some creative writing skills in English will be an added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, pleasant personality.
  • Have strong sense of teamwork. Displays enthusiasm when given tasks, able to communicate with people at various seniority levels and work together in a project or team environment. Also able to work independently from time to time.
  • Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Powerpoint.
  • Have interest or have some experience in managing projects in university will be an added advantage.
  • Having some design experience using Canva or Adobe tools will be an added advantage.
