Job Description & Qualifications

We are currently recruiting for a Wealth Planning Analyst to join our Wealth Planning Group. The wealth planning group at CI offers existing high net wealth clients and their families a dedicated team who work to enhance their financial well-being by providing Financial, Tax and Estate Planning services.

In this role, the successful candidate will develop valued relationships with our advisors by providing financial, tax and retirement planning solutions in a non-commission environment. You will assist advisors with both prospective and existing clients through the coordination and preparation of various wealth planning deliverables

What you will do

  • Complete a thorough review of client information to be used in the preparation of comprehensive Wealth Plans, Financial Plans, Financial Assessments, and other deliverables
  • Communicate with Regional Wealth Planners, Financial Advisors, and their respective assistants in situations where additional information or clarification is required
  • Prepare base case analyses, sensitivity analyses, and life insurance analyzes of client information using specialized financial planning software
  • Analyze the results obtained in the various analyzes noted above in order to draft Wealth Plans and other deliverables for Assante Private client and others
  • Conduct research on various financial and insurance matters as required
  • Ensure that various software applications properly apply financial planning concepts on a consistent basis
  • Participate in in-house seminars and training for company's employees
  • Undertake an ongoing program of education and professional development in accordance with the Company's policies as published from time to time
  • Work with colleagues within the company and the company's clients in a professional manner, displaying the utmost respect for fellow workers and clients

What you will bring

  • 2 years' experience with financial planning including the use of financial planning software such as Naviplan, Snap Projections or Conquest
  • Enrollment in or successful completion of the IQPF/CFP designation
  • Good Microsoft Office suite skills
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and presentation skills
