Effectively provide quality review of the Fund Financial Statements (“FS”), Management Report on Fund Performance (“MRFP”) (together “Fund Financial Reports”) and Point of Sale (“Fund Facts”) within the regulatory and audit timeframe, as applicable, while ensuring the quality and integrity of Fund Financial Reports and Fund Facts in accordance with IFRS standards and other regulatory requirements, as applicable.

Overview

We are currently seeking a Fund Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Fund Administration team. In this role, the successful candidate is expected to effectively provide quality review of the Fund Financial Statements (“FS”), Management Report on Fund Performance (“MRFP”) (together “Fund Financial Reports”) and Point of Sale (“Fund Facts”) within the regulatory and audit timeframe, as applicable, while ensuring the quality and integrity of Fund Financial Reports and Fund Facts in accordance with IFRS standards and other regulatory requirements, as applicable.

What will you do

  • Assist with coordination and production of Fund Financial Reports and Fund Facts,
  • Review Fund Financial Reports and Fund Facts,
  • Assist with review of monthly and quarterly fund related disclosures,
  • Assist in implementation of new or enhancement of existing reports in accordance with accounting or regulatory standards, as applicable, and
  • Other ad-hoc projects as required.

What will you bring

  • Post-secondary degree required (Accounting or Business preferred).
  • Canadian Securities Course and/or IFIC Mutual Funds Course and/or other related industry education is an asset.
  • Must have 2-3 years’ experience in investment fund industry preferably in detail-oriented role.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and macros.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent proven organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
