Job Description & Qualifications

General duties

Data collection

  • Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from various sources including market research, sales data, and industry trends
  • Use statistical tools and software to interpret data, identifying patterns and trends

Competitive Analysis

  • Monitor competitors’ strategies, products, and services to assess market positioning and identify potential opportunities or threats
  • Keey abreast of industry development and competitor activities

Market Forecasting

  • Develop forecasts for sales, market growth, and market share using predictive models and historical data
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendation to stakeholders

Report Preparation

  • Compile detailed reports that summarize research findings, analysis, and recommendations for management and stakeholders
  • Ensure reports are clear, concise, and actionable

Trend identification

  • Stay informed about emerging market trends and technologies that could impact the business
  • Identify new market opportunities based on trend analysis

Stakeholder engagement

  • Communicate findings and insights to various stakeholders including offering managers and marketing teams
  • Collaborate with these stakeholders to ensure market insights are integrated into decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate and support Offering Managers on Portfolio management, New product introduction market research and analysis, Feasibility Study, Monitoring and control to ensuring projects are aligned with the overall business strategy, Planning for product launches and ensuring smooth market entry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation, Mechanical , Materials, etc.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Experienced with Excel, PowerPoint, Access is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and across functional groups
  • Good command in English
