Job Description & Qualifications

Join our newly opened, automated warehouse, where we use innovative robotics technology developed by Ocado. In connection with the start of cooperation with Auchan, we are looking for specialists to help us develop the first technologically advanced online retail business in Poland, covering food and general goods, available on Ocado.com. Our warehouse is located in Wilcza Góra, near Piaseczno, in the Masovian Voivodeship.

As a Maintenance and Infrastructure Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining and repairing components and ensuring a high level of equipment reliability.

Scope of duties:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance work - Preventive Maintenance (PM) - in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in an accurate, timely and safe manner, in accordance with procedures and schedule.
  • Performing Corrective Maintenance (CM) work in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in an accurate, timely and safe manner, in accordance with maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Responding to equipment failures, diagnosing, repairing and resolving problems.
  • Updating engineering documentation, including all work performed, supporting root cause identification of failures, and confirming spare parts and consumables used.
  • Working with the CMMS system, updating records of work activities, tasks performed, parts used in warehouses and training conducted.
  • Collaborating with manufacturers, suppliers and other parts of the organization to find ways to improve processes and increase machine reliability and efficiency.
  • 5S at the workplace, performing daily duties related to maintaining order and cleaning equipment.
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure work is performed in accordance with safety standards.
  • Helping the engineering team analyze technical failures and find solutions to improve machine performance.
  • Health and safety at the workplace, compliance with safety procedures.
  • Working at height (above 3 m), operating a forklift and mobile/transportable platforms.
  • Participation in projects (development, assembly).
  • Shift work.

Our requirements:

  • SEP G1 entitlements (can be provided by the employer).
  • Higher education or secondary technical education in fields related to electronics, mechanical engineering, robotics or electrical engineering.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar position. Experience in a production environment preferred (automotive, aviation, logistics, manufacturing).
  • Practical experience in Maintenance (UM). 
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills, ability to transfer knowledge to others.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.
  • Practical knowledge of PLC and SCADA controllers (preferred).
  • English at a communicative level.
  • Willingness to work in shifts - this role will require flexibility as the warehouse will operate 24/7 in shifts.
