Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Cash Control Associate at Roxy Cinema. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

The Cash Control Associate works under the guidance of Manager Finance/Executive Finance and is responsible for performing a variety of cash control and accounting tasks such as counting and sorting cash, credit card slips and vouchers, calculating and verifying amounts as well as performing routine reconciliations, reports and cash counts.

Key Accountabilities:

• Demonstrate a sound understanding of Cash room function and its policies and procedures
• Avoid the potential for theft and inaccurate record keeping through continued vigilance and proactive behavior
• Accurately prepare, process, and deliver float bags and change requests
• Perform daily cash counts as per the cash control room policy (Safe, BCRM)
• Maintaining cash control entry and exit log
• Performance of adhoc tasks as assigned by Finance team
• Perform outlet cash spot checks and filling all the cash room daily / monthly documents in the archive room
• Preparing the petty cash, as per the required denominations, before gate operation for distribution to all cashiers as float money.
• Providing the petty cash to all cashiers and taking acknowledgement of the same in VGS/Vista,
• Credit card machines deployment, operation, closing and reporting any issues to the service provider/ IT.
• Maintain digital and physical financial records of all POS transactions, especially credit card slips for future charge back requirements.
• Ensure each revenue lines cash sales is deposited separately in bulk cash machine.
• Maintain up to date cash count with currency break down for Internal / external audit verification and year end physical count.
• Assist in daily and weekly reporting along with submission of refund details to the finance team
• Tracking daily sales report form Cinemas System (Vista). Preparing and sending Daily Sales Report for Roxy Cinemas
• Daily cash & credit card reconciliation (Actual Vs System)
• Reconciliation of Daily tip collection & updating track (Tip form is prepared and deposited into BCRM machine and then circulated to HC team)
• Maintain track for cash shortage/excess and communicating to concerned dept for further identification
• Verifying BOT run Flash Reports
• Preparing Weekly Sales Report PPT
• Verify and send F&B Weekly Update
• Preparing mapping sheets for all new products for the Flash Report - BOT
• Preparing the Municipality Tax Calculations
• Tracking Events/ Private Booking
• Manually sending Distributor Reports when BOT is failing
• Preparing mapping sheets for Weekly Film Rental - BOT
• Verifying BOT run Weekly Film Rental Reports
• Verifying invoices sent by the distributors vs Weekly Film Rental Reports
• Verifying BOT run GL Revenue Reports
• Preparing and submitting Tenancy Report (Monthly Gross Sales)
• Preparing Promotional Analysis Report
• Preparing Third Party Revenue Share Reports

Qualifications: Expertise in Finance Operations and internal controls

Experience: Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in similar field

Skills:

• Effective oral and written communications skills in English
• Possess good interpersonal skills for interacting with people
• A team player and have the ability of meeting assigned targets
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality/discretion
• Process-oriented, with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Advance user Microsoft Office Suite, Excel (Pivot Tables), PowerPoint and Outlook
• Problem solving and Judgement skills
• Ability to speak and write in Arabic will be an advantage
• Hand on experience in different POS system (such as Opera, Omnico, VGS, etc.)
