We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join in the role of Associate, Client Services in our Global Trade Solutions team.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver a valued and best in class client experience, built on deep Services SME expertise, strong internal networks (Relationship Managers, Sales Managers, Product Manager, and Implementation Manager) and back-office functions and a deep understanding of the client’s trade business across the Group.
- Own, manage and successfully resolve clients’ transactional queries in line with relevant standards (incl. financial crime and regulatory).
- Provide timely (often pro-active) and accurate guidance and recommendations to clients to help them manage their transactional issues and build trust in our offering and service proposition with a view to gaining new business.
- Manage GTRF service performance and increased clients’ usage of self-service solutions.
- Provide transactional advice to assigned clients, BDMs and RMs, and provide input to account planning.
- Support clients in coaching, onboarding, and training for Online Portal Solutions (HSBCNet, HSCF) and contribute to the successful embedding of a high performing culture and behaviours.
- Articulate complex Trade related issues concisely in simple language to support problem analysis using summary reports, dashboards, and visual representation.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a public/private university
- Experience in banking operations particularly in trade
- Knowledge on trade related guidelines and policies
- Clear ability to delicately handle and resolve inter/ intra departmental issues, developed on the job and through attendance on appropriate training programs/attachments
- Good interpersonal, communications, negotiation and analytical skills
