What is the Intelligent Industry Accelerate Programme Pathway?
The Intelligent Industry (II) pathway of the Accelerate programme is designed for talented graduates, passionate about leveraging a human-centric approach to transform and reinvent our customers’ and suppliers’ ways of working and processes.
The Accelerate Programme consists of 2 parts:
Your first 3 months of the Accelerate Programme will be spent within The Institute, where you will learn core consulting skills and gain a broad understanding of everything we do at Capgemini Invent within a feed-back rich environment.
Following your time in The Institute, you will join the Intelligent Industry Academy. Please refer to the relevant entry route webpage for further details on team structure and information on alignment with your skills and interests.

The Focus of Your Role
As an Associate Consultant you will embark on a stimulating and exciting journey where you will develop key skills that influence how our clients evolve the way they work, perform, and achieve their goals. You’ll have the opportunity to work on large scale transformation programmes. You will ensure the smooth delivery of end-to-end projects by working flexibly, demonstrating intellectual capability, and delivering innovative solutions for clients. The day-to-day tasks can vary from engagement with senior stakeholders, conducting analysis of data or business requirements, designing business strategies through to delivering workshops and collaboratively working in cross-functional teams to drive continuous business performance improvement.

At Capgemini Invent, although academics form part of our overall hiring decision, we do not select candidates purely on academic performance. We will assess your suitability for a role using several tools including video interviewing and assessment centres (all currently being held virtually).
Note: You will have lived in the UK for the last 3 years with no more than 6 consecutive month residence outside the UK (in order to meet security clearance requirements).

Alongside the above courses you will have the opportunity to deepen your content knowledge in your specific areas of interest through our Accelerate Core Consulting Pathways, designed to upskill you in areas such as strategic analysis, operating model transformation and cloud computing among other topics. You’ll also benefit from Leadership Connect sessions to help you learn more about your leadership team in Intelligent Industry and bring you closer to the team, alongside monthly deep dive sessions into the work we conduct in our Intelligent Industry sub teams.

Within the Intelligent Industry Academy there are a variety of roles you may take on:
Agile Business Analyst:
As an Agile Business Analyst, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, having responsibility for understanding client needs, and using Agile methodology to continue to define, adapt and build our client’s solutions.
Process Optimisation Consultant:
As a Process Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding a specific client process/function/set of activities. You will understand how the client currently completes various business activities, conduct analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
Operating Model & Organisational Design Consultant:
As an Operating Model & Organisation Design Consultant, you will support organisations to design their people, process and technology transformation. You will facilitate workshops and engagements with all levels of the organisation, and be responsible for the delivery of artefacts that will deliver their strategy.
Change Management Consultant:
As a Change Consultant, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand the vision for change and identify the impacts of the change on the business, communicating these impacts to wider stakeholders.
Project Management Office:
As a PMO, you will support the Project/Programme Manager with the overall programme coordination. You build detailed project plans, keep projects on budget, track progress, and analyse project data to identify areas of improvement.
Scrum Master:
As a Scrum Master, you will guide teams and organisations on how to use Agile/Scrum practices. You will facilitate reviews, retrospectives, daily stand ups and planning meetings, working closely with the scrum team and stakeholders, dealing with blockers and impediments.
