The Finance Analyst will act as a financial advisor to the Partner Market Managers and the Africa Partner Markets team on key business and financial decisions. Contributes ideas, energy, enthusiasm and support to the continuous improvement of finance processes. Cover all aspects of finance from controlling, reporting and decision support.

Key Accountabilities

  • Business partnering with internal and external stakeholders to support and drive adherence to plan and business performance through insight and analysis of risks and opportunities.
  • Ensuring that risks and opportunities are owned and managed to improve performance and drive growth.
  • Drive the development of Annual Operating plans (AOP) and Risk and Opportunity forecasts (R&O) on a regular basis with the support of the various structures in place.
  • Ensures financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with CARM processes.
  • Decision support on pricing development, value chains, scenario modelling etc
  • Prepare for and support with insight into BPM deck and Strategic Business Review meetings with partners.
  • Carry out depletion analysis and other financial analytics for the market.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • University/College degree in Finance/Business
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or CIMA is preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a multinational environment, with:
  • Strong Financial Accounting/Reporting/Controlling experience.
  • Internal/external audit experience
  • Experience of Business Partnering with senior commercial stakeholders
  • Experience of working in a commercial finance/functional role will be an added advantage.

Key Skills

  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Experience of working with an ERP system (SAP FI/CO modules)
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent Stakeholder engagement skills (Senior Stakeholders)
