Our 24-month Graduate Development Programme (GDP) provides you with a learning environment to help you become a well-rounded consultant and launch your career.

Working in Project Management or Project Controls requires you to adapt, evolve and thrive in complex environments. During the two-year programme you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles, providing you with exposure to the most complex projects and programmes across the industry. The graduate programme offers the chance to personally drive improvements and successful delivery at the forefront of key sectors including infrastructure, central & local government, health, education, energy and natural resources, commercial development, datacentres, manufacturing and logistics, offices, life sciences and defence.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you could be responsible for overall project delivery, delivering client commitments, developing project documentation, project schedules, reporting on project progress and managing contractual processes such as procurement, risk, change and governance.
You will have the opportunity to experience projects, programmes and portfolios at different stages in the lifecycle. Roles may vary between construction delivery, digital services, project and programme management, front-end business case advisory, risk management, or project controls.
You will have the opportunity to enrol on either the Association for Project Management Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or Project Planning & Control (PPC) certification in the second year of the programme. Upon completion of the programme you will have the opportunity to work towards the NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation (PMA), and Chartered status with the Association of Project Management (APM) after 5 years' experience.

In some regional roles being able to drive will be necessary due to the location of client offices. Please also note this is not a remote role as we operate a hybrid working approach you will need to be willing and able to work in a Turner & Townsend office or a client site.
To be considered for roles in the Defence arena you will need to pass both a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC clearance – this process will initiated once you have accepted an offer and have indicated you are happy to go through these checks.
