Tata Motors focuses on designing, manufacturing and selling world-class Electric Vehicles in India. Sales, Marketing & Customer Care department is responsible for driving retail sales and ensuring strong customer experience for EV products. This role focusses on strengthening sales process and work on sales enablers.
Electric Vehicles Sales Capability Development Program
Through this Electric Vehicles Sales Capability Development Program, candidates have an Exciting Career Opportunity with Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle Limited (OEM) to be part of growing and advanced industry of Electric Vehicles. Whether candidate is from Industry or outside, to ensure candidate’s success, handholding will be through a robust, detailed and enriching online and classroom training program which will include aspects like Product Training, Sales Process Training and Plant Visit.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the EV Product Specialist to answer customer queries (both vehicle and charging) at dealerships/ other points of sale. Ensure engagement & Interaction with hot customers
- Ensure Pipeline management and to ensure efficiency of the enablers like follow up demonstration etc.
- Ensure 100% follow-up of leads to logical conclusion.
- Ensure customer experience at dealerships as designed.
- EV market development & Community building
- Conduct home visits and product demonstrations to customers.
- Conduct micro-market activations (Events at offices, malls, apartments, etc.
- Manage a lead activation desk and generate leads.
- Optimize utilization of test drive vehicle, if provided.
- Ensure availability of right number and trained Customer Advisors in dealerships.
- Train and upskill dealership sales workforce on EVs.
- Capture customer data and feedback.
- Escalation or complaints resolution at the outlet
- Feedback to TSM & RM on the dealership.
- Responsible (along with Customer Advisors in dealership) for achievement of retail targets.
- Work with dealer sales executives to drive EV sales in ICE focus dealerships.

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Engineering Graduates with 0-3 years of experience in Sales; Experience in Automobile, Allied products sales, Industrial products or any other products will be preferred.
- Strong verbal & written communication with good fluency in English language and local language of respective city.
- Strong sales experience/ skills, evidenced through track record or references.
- Prior experience in leading a sales team a plus.
- Knowledge of Passenger vehicle sales process.
- Good technical knowledge of Passenger Vehicles products of TML & competition along with product features.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to lead and manage teams and achieve targets; specially a dealer sales force focused on ICE.
- Strong customer orientation – able to prioritize customer experience and satisfaction.
- Ability to influence colleagues/ dealer manpower without direct reporting relationship.
- Able and willing to learn new technologies.
- Ability to prioritize and manage customer pipeline without losing sales.
