Job Description & Qualifications

The purpose of the Senior Consultant in Tax and Legal Department is to deliver high-quality advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations while optimizing their tax strategies. The role involves providing expert legal guidance on various corporate matters, supporting clients through complex tax issues, and helping them navigate the regulatory environment effectively.

Job Description:

• Advise clients on both tax and legal matters, ensuring informed decision-making.
• Streamline company establishment by handling DBD registration, business license applications (BOI, FBL, etc.), and navigating regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, and revise contracts and legal documents for optimal clarity and protection.
• Bridge communication gaps by translating legal documents between Thai and English.
• Analyse cross-border transactions, interpret tax treaties, and provide strategic advice on tax implications.
• Navigate and assist clients through tax audits for a smooth and successful resolution.
• Conduct thorough research to identify tax issues related to business transactions and assess tax consequences for diverse entities and their affiliates.
• Demonstrate a willingness to tackle any assigned tax or legal tasks to support the firm's needs.

Qualification:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in law or taxation is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field, such as tax consulting or corporate law, is required.
• Prior experience in taxation is a significant advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the Thai Revenue Code and Civil and Commercial Law is highly desirable.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written Thai and English is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
