Qualifications / Certifications required

A related tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree) is essential

Experience required:

1-2 Years experience preferably in the tax environment

Responsibilities of role:

• Manage a portfolio of clients with submissions of income tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals
• Liaise with SARS and clients on all SARS matters
• Calculate provisional tax
• Check income tax assessments
• Do objections to incorrect assessments
• Attend to documents issued on eFiling and follow up on SARS related matters
• Attend to registrations on eFiling
• Attend to deregistrations with SARS
• Experience in Word and Excel required
• Working knowledge of Greatsoft advantageous

Skill sets required:

• Computer literacy – Microsoft Office and Google Suites;
• Work effectively under pressure and handle confidential matters with tact and professionalism;
