Job Description & Qualifications

Intakes: June 2025 for 8 weeks
Reward: £24,000 (pro-rata for 8-week period)

We are looking for technology passionate individuals to want to start their career in the IT industry. You will be joining The Agile Delivery practice working for our largest UK public sector client, learning from our inspiring experts, and joining a large community of Graduates and Apprentices across the business to share experiences and connect with to support you. You will create, manage, and continuously improve one or more programmes using agile and lean principles and methodologies. Typically, this involves delivering a specific product or transformation via a number of multi-disciplinary, highly skilled teams. You will work with product managers and the delivery team to define requirements, create user stories, and define acceptance criteria. You will have good stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build good relationships and communicate effectively. You’ll learn to deliver end-to-end solution on complex projects and services.

This role is only available to be based in our office in Telford, West Midlands. As such you will need to be based within a commutable distance to the Telford office where you should expect to typically be in our Telford office 3 days a week. This specific role is not available to be based in any other UK office, but other opportunities on our website have more flexibility on locations.

Role: Business Analyst

  • Work with business stakeholders to define their requirements, translate these into user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
  • Have responsibility for working with solution architects and other technical subject matter experts to deliver an end-to-end solution which meets clients’ requirements.
  • Play a pivotal role in projects as part of a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team.
  • Be highly customer focused and responsible for building stakeholder relationships.
  • Understand industry trends, look for new opportunities for work within your projects, contribute to proposals and drive innovation which will increase client value e.g., use of Generative AI to enhance business processes.

Your skills and experience

  • Enrolled in your 2nd year on a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Product Design, User Experience Design, or a related field.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Security Clearance:

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.

To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.

Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.

Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
