Working in Asia Pacific

You′ll find that our colleagues come from a diverse mix of cultures from around the world. The scope of your everyday work will encourage you to collaborate with colleagues in other Asian countries, and in some cases you may partner closely with the U.S. or European teams. In addition, you will have opportunity to experience the excitement and exposure of travelling around the Asia Pacific region.

Training and Development

Once you join us as an intern or a full-time Analyst/Associate in our Asia Pacific team, you will participate in an intensive global training program in New York, where you′ll meet peers from around the world and start to build your global network from day one. And your training won′t stop there. Once you return you′ll continue to build your skills through training opportunities offered throughout your career.

Selection Process

Interviews typically range from one to three rounds and selection process is as follows:

Graduate recruiters and business teams will review your resumé
Selected candidates will be contacted for a first-round telephone or face-to-face interview
Successful candidates will be invited for face-to-face interviews with senior members of our business team (they will fly to meet you in your nearest city or you will be invited to the nearest local J.P. Morgan office)
Short listed candidates will be invited to a "Super Day" interview and/or Assessment Center
If interviewed purely by partner region managers, you may be required to undertake a final interview via video conference with the Asia hiring manager(s)
Offers will then be extended to successful candidates

Please note that some businesses also use online testing and assessment centers including group interviews and case studies as part of the selection process.
