Overseas Accounting/Finance Trainee

The trainee program will consist of 12 month of on-job training in accounting department at Freudenberg Regional Corporate Center in Shanghai, and 12 months of further overseas training with global Accounting/Finance team at Freudenberg headquarter in Germany. After the traineeship, the relocation to a Freudenberg branch in China according to the business requirements is intended.

Accounting Function: 

- Keep clearly, proper and accurate records of all financial transactions in the Freudenberg Management Company on a timely basis.

- Secure to meet all government and internal deadlines for reporting on relevant data, e.g. monthly reports, taxes, social security.

- Secure proper and complete, well kept documents for all transactions.

- Assist the Accounting Function to provide services to the group companies including payment management, monthly bookkeeping and reporting, invoice management, tax declaration and VAT refund services.

- Overall back-up and support of Accounting Supervisor including related administrative tasks 

Other Job Functions: 

- Act as back up for Finance Assistant or other commercial function as needed.

- Supporting or independent analytical and project work as assigned from time to time.

- Back-up for general office management issues (e.g. travel organization, Office organization etc.)  

The position requires a high level of precision (attention to detail) and confidentiality. Subject to the individual learning progress the tasks may include an increasing level of responsibility.

Proficiency in English is a must while understanding of German is a plus.
