The World Bank in Zimbabwe is Looking For a Receptionist!

The World Bank Zimbabwe Country Office in Harare seeks to hire a Receptionist to perform basic office functions, to include: sorting and distributing incoming mail, answering telephones and receptionist duties, ordering and monitoring office supplies, assisting in maintaining unit files, photocopying, delivering urgent mail/messages, obtaining authorizations, handling courier services, uses basic keyboard and word processing skills to assist in preparation of short documents, memos, letters and electronic mail. You may also be required to back-up other team members in routine office functions, as required. Coordinating closely with the Senior Executive Assistant, the Receptionist will perform the following specific duties independently with minimal supervision:

 
Note: If the selected candidate is a current Bank Group staff member with a Regular or Open-Ended appointment, s/he will retain his/her Regular or Open-Ended appointment. All others will be offered a 3 year term appointment.
 
-High School Diploma
-Minimum 5 years relevant experience
-Strong knowledge of word processing, email, and other computer functions
-Strong English Language and written communications skills
-Ability to interact professionally and tactfully with staff at all levels in a team environment
-Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and juggle multiple priorities
-Ability to respond independently to inquiries and make decisions.
