2013 British Council China Career Development Workshop & Mini job fair 2013留英学生职业发展英国研讨会暨小型招聘会

 

The British Council, operating in China as the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy, will run a series of career development workshops in the UK from the 26 October to 03 November 2013. 

Based on last years′ sucess, the British Council China will hold four workshop sessions this year, including mini job fairs in Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol and London. These workshops will give Chinese students further insight into the careers opportunities available to them and professional advice on job hunting and interview skills.

This year we are working in partnership with Zhaopin.com to invite well known businesses to take part in our event. Chinese students will be able to explore their interests and skills to further help them explore the career development process. Participants will also have the chance to interact with business representatives who will be able to offer career development advice and information on their own job opportunities.

Manchester Session

Notes: Seats for this session are limited. Please attend after receiving confirmation of your place. Students from Aston Business school, the University of Lancaster, the University of Leeds and the University of Manchester should reserve places through the Careers Office in your university.

 

Edinburgh Session

2013留英学生职业发展英国研讨会暨小型招聘会将于2013年10月下旬至11月初在英国4座城市的著名学府盛大举行。本次活动由英国大使馆文化教育处携手智联招聘共同举办，覆盖英国全境南北中西的多所高校。本次活动旨在使中国学生更清晰地树立理性求职意识，掌握必备的求职技巧，在毕业前为进入中国就业市场积极做好心理应对；同时帮助中国公司搭建有效的海外招聘平台，吸纳优质人才并扩大企业在海外影响力。 

树立理性求职意识，积极规划职业发展之路

英国大使馆文化教育处及智联招聘近几年进行的一项针对中国雇主及留英校友的调研显示国际毕业生回国就业竞争愈加激烈。该调研也反映出“如何客观衡量职业发展的区域价值，理性评价职业发展模式，寻找到理想的就业机遇”是广大留英校友共同关心的问题。

本次留英学生职业发展英国巡讲将引导中国学生进行合理的职业规划，理解正确的求职面试技巧，从而使他们在网络招聘信息大爆炸的竞争中更胜一筹。在过往几年中，英国大使馆文化教育处举办了一系列的活动以帮助英国校友塑造核心竞争力。此次与智联招聘联合举办的留英学生职业发展研讨会暨小型招聘会也是这样一个为了帮助即将回国校友顺利进入中国就业市场的活动之一。
