About IMI
IMI is a global engineering group focused on the precise control and movement of fluids in critical applications. We work with leading international companies in over 50 countries to deliver innovative engineering solutions to address global trends such as clean energy, energy efficiency, healthcare and increasing automation.
About the Programme
We have a big vision: over the next five years we want to double our profits. It’s incredibly ambitious. But drive and ambition have got us to where we are today and we have no intention of slowing down now. Having such ambitious goals means we’re keen to attract the very best engineering graduates from around the globe. If you’re one of them, you’ll enjoy the outstanding support you need to fulfil your true potential.
Reflecting our broad range of engineering innovation, our two-year graduate programme offers a uniquely diverse experience. You’ll undertake different rotations, getting exposure to a range of projects and locations around the world. Across various areas including R&D, Production, Project Management and Technology Sales, you’ll work on live projects, taking on real responsibility and experiencing the product lifecycle end-to-end. This is going to give you a fantastic platform from which to build your long-term career with us.
Our programme has been developed to support your personal and professional growth. We’ll offer you a wide range of demanding but rewarding experiences. In short, we’ll equip you to make an impact – then we’ll give you the opportunity to follow it through and take it further.
How does the programme work?
Each of our three divisions offers exciting challenges for their graduates. You’ll need to choose a business that’s based in a country where you’re eligible to work, and you’ll need to be fluent in that country’s language. It’s vital that you’re fluent in English wherever you join us, as that’s the business language of our company.
Once you’ve joined a division, you’ll stay there for the duration of the programme, playing a vital role in its on-going growth.
In 2015, we’re looking globally for 30 engineers. Your journey with IMI will start within your home country (the table below shows you which divisions we have in which country), with at least one placement outside of that country.
How long does the programme run?
In 2015, all 30 graduates will join IMI in September. That’s when your programme will start and over the course of the two years, you’ll gain a detailed understanding of the division, its technologies and the market in which it operates.
